I agree completely. Everytime I have been to DV, I felt one with myself. Something about sleeping under the stars, the serenity of the desert floors, mountains and canyons and what it has to offer- there is no words. Only you and God and that positive energy that rushes through you. I am long overdue to join this most beautiful place on earth. I am a desert rat, but I also enjoy the peacefulness and solitude of the Sierras too.

Last weekend, I was in Death Valley with my best friend. It's a perfect time of the year to go. It was as groovy and cosmic as ever. And yes, for many of us, the desert can be a profoundly spiritual place. I have had some incredible visions in the desert. But spirituality is a personal thing and your type of proselytizing is just plain irritating.
Thankfully we saw no signs of that boring, non-existent, patriarchal, monotheistic god thing or his dead (yes DEAD) preachy, pretender to the the throne, son. Now we did see a couple of cute boys from Utah and some sweet nerdy, geology students from UNLV. We would have even picked you up Adam and shown you a good time.
